The victory of the Lord over sin and death invites us to search for and find him among the living. We are challenged to move out of the tombs of our self-centeredness, to stretch our boundaries and to discover him in our encounter with others. Through the waters of baptism we have passed from death to life and are called to live our vocation of being sons and daughters of God. The world awaits again the light of Christ shining through our loving service to all of humanity. The example of Pope Francis invites us all to let that light shine especially over those who are disenfranchised from society; those who are considered unimportant; those who suffer in any way. May our compassion, solidarity and loving service with those who are poor and suffering be a sign of the Living Lord proclaimed by his Church today!
