We are on the way.

Today’s feast is not just about Jesus’ return in glory to the Father. It is also about we who are following the Lord to eternal glory. Today’s feast encourages us to become all that we are meant to be. Intimately united with Christ on earth, we are called to live with him forever in glory because he has joined our humanity to divinity.

Jesus has showed us that we are called to live our humanity to the fullest as he did. Eternal life begins in our living our human life in a way that continues to reflect the Lord’s own life, passion and death. He came to teach us how to be truly human and in that to discover the sacredness of ourselves, of each moment and of each person.

We are not created to exist for only a moment in the continuum of time but rather are born out of God’s eternity to live each moment in him forever in grateful love.
